By turning the Books of the Old testament into a story you can give visual pictures that clue the children into remembering the names of the books. Sometimes the pictures start with the same first letter, sometimes they rhyme and sometimes they are a combination of words. The silly story should create a fun environment while learning the Old Testament Books.
When teaching the Books of the Old Testament I usually start with the Power Point show that tells the story. After you have shown the power point with the words several times you can substitute the Power Point Without Words. If you don't have video equipment in your room then just print out the Large Cards and hold them up as you tell the story.
